This 1975 Citroën CX 2200 in the color Vert Guérande -nicknamed Laivert- is the only surviving car in this rare color which was originally sold in the Netherlands and therefore has an old original Dutch license number. Expected to be back on the road in 2018/2019.
She was in need of a lot of love and we are giving her the attention she needs.
All rust is cut out and replaced by new fresh metal and old parts are being restored by regalvanizing or are repainted.
This is major surgery on the left sill and left rear wing…
Also the right sill is rebuild…
Here you see the battery holder which is being restored with original sheet metal and the inner left wheel arch with new inserts.
A small nose job…
All old bolts, nuts, washers and other smaller and larger removable parts are regalvanized…
